Wondering how to create high quality video output of your 3D data? Need to filter through complex, massive 3D and 4D data sets? This session will provide a deep dive into the new Animation capability in ArcGIS Pro, using the range slider for scientific and floor-based information, linked views, and advanced 3D symbology for visualization and analysis. Speakers: Nathan Shephard, Chris Andrews, Steve Heidelberg Our goal is for you to become confident in working in 3D and to be able to harness the full 3D capabilities of the ArcGIS platform. We'll set out key principles for working in 3D how it differs from 2D mapping and when a 3D approach can be used effectively. Through a set of illustrative examples, we will build upon core cartographic ideas to show how to create visually stunning and meaningful 3D products. In this session we explore ways in which you can leverage the capabilities of 3D scenes to give your work depth and new insight. Taking advantage of the third dimension in your data, or visualizing using 3D techniques, can bring a whole new perspective to your work. Open MP3 Version Top of D Cartographic Techniques: An Introduction Topics will include an introduction to 3D Analyst extension, various data types relevant to 3D modeling, conveying realism using 3D symbology, 3D Editing, 3D Analysis and animation. The presentation will highlight the techniques for visualizing GIS data in three dimensions with ArcGlobe, ArcScene and ArcGIS Pro, as well as demonstrate the geoprocessing analysis functions provided by the 3D Analyst extension. Geared toward new or potential users, this session will provide an overview of 3D analysis capabilities in the ArcGIS platform including the ArcGIS 3D Analyst extension and procedural analysis capabilities possible in ArcGIS Pro. 3D Analysis Tools and Visualization with ArcGIS
